Thank You for input, I had taken Blazer into my axle guy, the gear ratio in front & rear matched & that the rear pumpkin had lots of water in it & pitted the crap out of ring/pinion gears. But front is ok. But steering arm tweaked too !

@MrHappy the steering arm pictured looks normal (for a lifted version). Got a pic of the area that's supposed to be messed up? The shape looks fine, is a hole damaged?

I called my guy back & questioned that myself, he said the arm is good it’s the actual tie rod ends that are worn & the grease boots are bad. My misunderstanding. Do you have any suggestions where I could get these ? I looked at LMC truck, but last time I got something it was made in Tiawan ! Really like to stick with USA .

Mood used to be the go to brand but I’ve read they are using some foreign parts now too. I’m not sure who the best is anymore.

Okay, I just saw that this morning, because my next question was gonna be the driver side tie rod end is part of the drag link . can’t I just change it to : 2 tie rod ends & a solid link in between ? Will this be strong enough ?

The tie rod and drag link are 2 separate pieces. The tie rod is the wheel to wheel bar, the drag link is the short assembly running front to rear between the steering box pitman arm and the axle steering arm.

Thank You, been ages since I’ve worked on any front steering stuff. I’m looking at diagram now, I’ll be replacing those also. So standing corrected I’ll need to get a new adjusting tube to take the place of eXisting drive side T.rod end with adjusting tube attached & hole for steering stabilizer shock. Because now it has dual shocks set up.
