For a six inch suspension lift, which is a better correction for steering: a raised steering arm, drop drag link, or drop pitman arm?

Truck currently has a drop draglink and drop pitman.

I can't afford crossover right now.

There really isn't a better in there. If what you have works fine then run it.

Don't buy anything else for your steering till you can afford crossover it helps a ton on the street and more off road

6" and drop drag and pitman ? ? ?

need a pic of that. i bet thats over corrected.

does it steer like crap now ?

if its only 2 inch each it may be fine, but seems overkill for 6 inch lift.they generally only use one or the other for the lift kits.im guessin it may be overcorrected if the drop is too much.the steering arm should be almost flat along a horizontal plane.maybe a slight raise torward the steering box.how is your arm on there in relation to the springs blue max?

get the drop arm and the drop link
that would work fine and then you wouldnt have to fight the studs for a steering block

I haven't driven the truck on the road or anywhere really. I've put maybe on a mile on the truck in the last few years of working on the truck.

(Pardon the pics, but my garage is crowded right now)

That was my initial reason for using the drop drag link and drop pitman arm. I couldn't get the arm off when i did the suspension lift.

Looks about right as is.crossover is gonna help a lot
If u get it in and setup.how does that work as is?it does have the angle fixed with what u have.if it works and drives correct id leave it.offroad it will show its weekness if anything.

fyi that looks like more than 6" lift.

whats the #'s on the springs ?

and yep that angle looks good on the drag link. slight drop to the rear.

and the crossover would be best. the good tho is drop pitman arms sell good and fast. the drop drag link sell o.k. so recupe your money and go crossover if me.

Part # on the springs is "11511". It's a 6 inch FWPW "Genuine Suspension" lift.(or at least that's what I paid for)

Althought I bought a 2 1/2 lift from them and it was as tall as my friends 3/4 ton with a 4 inch lift.

If you don't like your setup, I'll trade my Skyjacker 6" raised arm with the bolts and cones for just your drop pitman arm.

You can keep your draglink and sell it or whatever. Sell that to get money for a new replacement and straight draglink.

I may have misstated before.

A raised steering arm and dropped pitman arm are the best. A drop draglink does nothing to correct geometry.
