Has anyone ever changed the seals on their K5's steering gear? How difficult is this? It appears pretty straight forward. Mine is leaking from where the box connects to the arm and from where it connects to the shaft. Can anyone help?

Is that my old post? If you have any questions feel free to mail me. Pretty straight forward but some tricks and it's messy.

Hi, Grim. Yeah, that was your old post. I know there was a discussion as to whether the whole box should just be replaced or if one could get by just replacing the seals. What do you think? I know there are seals where the box attaches to the arm and also where it attaches to the shaft up on the other end. It looks to be a pretty straight forward job. What did YOU do? Thanks in advance.
