Hey guys!

I am just in the process of switching my truck over to crossover steering with the D60.

I purchased a 10 bolt crossover steering setup from a board member a while back, and I am trying to adapt it to the D60. I installed an ORD weld in / bolt in frame bracing kit, and bolted on a brand new 2wd steering box to replace the worn out / leaky old unit I had before.

After installing the box, I went to center by turning lock to lock without the pitman arm on, then turned the steering box so it was half way between it's throw. When I put the pitman arm on, it points a couple degrees towards the outside of the frame rail. With the same pitman arm, and the old leaky 2wd box I had, it was directly parallel with the frame.

Is there some sort of adjustment in the steering box to center the sector shaft to make the pitman arm parallel with the frame rails? The steering box is a remanufactured unit, so I am assuming they messed something up in it when they built it...

Also, 10 bolt crossover drag links and tie rods are too long for a D60! Who'da thunk it...

There's nothing inside the box that can be wrong to give you this issue. The only thing that could cause it IF the steering box is definately centered would be a twisting sector shaft. Just for reference, when the steering box is centered the flat on the input shaft will be pointed up at the hood. I literally just finished building another steering box an hour ago.

I am running my old 10b stuff on my 60. I bought new TRE's that were shorter and did have to trim some off each end of my tie-rod which is threaded for TRE's. My draglink I cut and installed new weld in bungs.
