I have a 1991 k5, I hv a 3 inch body lift and am about to put on 12 inches of suspension lift. I don't have money for a crossover or hi steer right now, so will I be fine just making a drop pitman arm and leaving away bar disconnected? It's just a mud truck and will never touch the road. If that won't work what's the next best option. Thanks

Please don't "make" a drop pitman arm. Skyjacker sells a drop pitman arm. For 12" lift, crossover is best, but you are probably gonna need the 2" drop pitman arm, 4" raise steering arm and the z bent draglink too.

drive shaft mods on 12" lift and blazer will = more than good steering.

and price of all parts if new for push/pull stock steering = crossover price basicly.

lol, buy whatever drop pitman arm + raise steering arm (or block for D60) + S-draglinks you can find, like Dan3 said.

If it's an off road only rig, IMHO the best thing would be to piece together a full hydro setup. Find an orbital from a old forklift or farm equipment, surplus ram, some brackets , hoses and that's about it :dunno:

twelve kajillion dollars

steering and cheap should not be in the same sentence

check out ORD, WFO, and whoever else comes up in a google search

price will depend on whether it's a <D60 or D60
