Steering Issue - Drag Link Grease Boots

My last 2 wheeling trips, I have come home minus one grease boot on my drag link. First the steering arm end, today the pitman arm end. I've got a 4 inch tough country, sway bar disconnects, and a 2 inch drop pitman arm which seems to give me good geometry. Any ideas why I would loose both rubber boots? I grease them after each trip, which is why I've noticed them go missing twice.

The stock push/pull steering can get some pretty harsh angles put on the draglink when wheeling and getting that side wheel stuffed. You might want to upgrade to urethane boots.
