Rebuilding my steering knuckles with cross over components and had a question about the studs.
1. Should I use locktight on them.
2. Do i just run them down until they bottom out, they run down pass the bottom of the hole a bit. I dont remember how they looked when i removed the old studs.
3. Same as 1 but for the nuts holding the steering arms on, locktight or nah?

I took the old bolt and cut slits in it to make it a thread cleaner and then cleaned out all the holes with that and an air gun to make sure the studs would go all the way down. Got an extra 1/4-3/8" of thread this way. Then ran the studs down to the bottom and backed them off an 1/8-1/4 turn and then torqued it all down.

i tend to clean the thread holes good . then i put a little red locktight on them and run them down and just a bit past finger tight .
