steering problems

ok. i went off roadin this week and i got twisted up a little and now i cant right. i was wondering if anyone has ever heard of the steering box skipping teeth if it was forced against the locks. i got my wheel stuck on a bur and it turned hard to the left. any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

Wild guess, but it sounds like your steering wheel is "off"? More than likely the drag link if so. Connects the steering box to the steering arm.

I don't think the gearbox really has teeth to skip, either. Rather, grooves with ball bearings in them?
