What problems will I have running crossover steering with only 2 to 3 inches of lift? For the lift up front, I’m planning on running 2 inch BDS springs with my Chevy D60.

Does anyone have the part number for the 2wd sector shaft needed for my steering gearbox (gear box is from a 4wd 1988 K5)?

Thanks

I'm running crossover and my suspension height is about stock. Here's my .02

If you have a bent draglink it will probably clear the engine crossmember (I have ORD's and it clears fine). I would bet that a straight crossmember wouldn't clear.

You may have clearance issues between the driver side leaf spring and the draglink end. I have the bumpstops on my front suspension set very low (only ~1-2" of uptravel) to keep the springs from hitting the steering.

Basically, make sure you use a bent draglink and expect to make bumpstops (it may or may not be necessary, you'll have to get everything together and then decide if you need them or not).
