I have a problem with the turning radius on my 56. It takes a lot of room to even turn a corner (as bad as some dumps that I've driven). The steering wheel turns about 3.5 turns from lock to lock. I measured the pitman arm and it comes out to around 5.25 inches. The knuckles don't even come close to the steering stops on the axle (a d44). I've put a 4" Tuff Country lift on the truck and installed the recommended steering arm. I'm running 35" tires but I don't see how they would cause this problem. The frame/drivetrain is from an 80 3/4 ton 4x4.

Am I missing something real simple? I trying to get this thing right so the only thing an alignment shop needs to do will be the alignment.
