on my 86 K5 with a D60 up front.

when its cold, the steering wheel is off center, about 1/4 turn. after driving for awhile it will return to center. also it pulls to the right even though its aligned. and when i brake it pulls to the right.

steering box, lines, and steering components are pretty much brand new. two winters ago i slid into a snow bank on the right side. and ever since then it does this.

any ideas? something loose? sticking caliper?

Broken center pin? Any signs of the axle/u-bolt plate(s) shift fore & aft on the spring?

pull the ubolts and plate and make sure that center pin isnt broken. i sheared one not too long ago and it would dive to the right when i hit the brakes and pull really hard.
