I put my body back on my blazer tonight with a 1" body lift. The steering shaft will extend far enough to hook it backup but it won't go out much farther. I think I need to get a longer one. What do you think? I can't remember the name of the one everyone one uses. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

I found this one on summitracing.com

Would this work?

There are a couple of posts about Jeep XJ shafts. Not sure of the length of them, because they've been done mostly to get rid of the rag joints on the stockers. As this costs under $50.00 (according to the posts - I have no personal experience), it would be worth looking into.

go with a steering shaft from an xj cherokee, they are longer than the chevy ones

Yeah like everyone is saying a xj is longer then a stock chevy. Getting rid of the rag joint helps a lot in the steering slop, best 10 bucks I have spent

My stock steering shaft is working with my 3" body lift.

yeah mine is fine with the 2inch body lift also. you have to put a propane torch to it to burn that plastic out of it so it can extend more. kinda like a ujoint

I didn't burn the plastic out of mine. All I did was drill out the plastic that fills the 2 holes in the side of the shaft.
