Steering slip shafts

I went searching but couldn't find a thread about someone who went junkyarding and scored the parts for a new shaft ffrom the bottom of the column to the box. I think they were able to do away with the rag joint and the goofy double d slip yoke at the top and just use a slip shaft from a minivan with ujoints at both ends.

It's a jeep piece, cherokee IIRC. Should be able to find *something* under "steering shaft jeep" in search I'd think.

XJ shafts or a van shafts are what your looking for. I used one out of a full size fan.
