If your steering system is in good shape you shouldn't need one steering stabilizer, let alone 2 of them.

If you have to have a stabilizer then you need to search for the real problem in the steering system. Stabilizers just mask problems.

Both my Sub and my yota came with steering stabilizers stock. I suspect that the factories use them b/c of the axle linkage vs. steering arrangement allows some shake or shimmy. I think that not running one may shorten the life of your steering box due to the vibes fatiguing box parts.

Really? Even if your driving in rutted snow packed roads or slush? How about when you hit standing water about 45 mph on one side only? I'd have to try it to believe it.

That's not going to happen if you keep posting in it :doah: :screwy:

It's been 2 weeks since the last post and you brought it back up :haha:

Yep, needs to stay at the top for more votes to break the tie. :haha:

Considering the question, I like the end to end style. If you mount the properly you dont loose any ground clearance like you would with the = style. Of course, I will only be running a single cause im cheap.

I haven't been running a stabilizer at all since I installed my Sky Rock Rod and, to be perfectly honest, I haven't noticed any difference (other than my PS belt squeaking less). I drive city, freeway, snow and everything else.

I spent hours and $$$ fabricating a dual stabilizer bracket (top and bottom style) and having it powder coated and now it looks like I may never install it.

I've just got the single-stabilizer factory setup, with a Monroe replacement unit where the leaky OEM unit was.

However, for looks, there's nothing like a Rock Ram (or similar hydraulic unit).

I noticed Abosolutely no difference driving with one on vs off. Granted the one that was on there originally was probably bad, and I haven't gone over 55mph since its been off so I may be biast

ok i want to know if it would be alright to run a dual inline stabilizer with just 33s...would having them on there make it harder to find front end problems in the future?
