steering stablizer???

I was checking out the dual stablizer from rancho and it says for tires larger than 35" tires I'm running 36"swampers...so the question is who's running dual stablizers with larger than 35" tire? and is it a big difference than an single? just checking before I buy either one.

i got duals on 35's, never run a single so cant say for sure. For ground clearance run 2 opposing ones, however I dont like the opposing lol. I have never seen an opposing that will give you full turning ability. The flanges on the pumpkin, where they come down to the axle tube, offsets the center bracket too far to teh driver side, keeping you from being able to turn all the way to the driver side. I like the over under style, even though you may beat the snot out of it if you do rocks. Mud it dont matter, just drag it on through like me.

i've got duals on 38's and can't imagine running a single with that setup. I just posted a link in the for sale for a ebay setup for just this...should go for cheap

I am designed my own just for that reason. As soon as I get it installed and tested, I may sell the brackets for it as a cheap kit (less than $50) So far, all the math works, I just gotta weld on the brackets and bolt in another stabilzer to see how it works! /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif

Dumb question: why are duals better than a harder shock in the stock place? I thought the point of duals on regular shocks was so they wouldn't get hot and fade. Is the a problem with stabilizers?
