my wife got me a steering wheel out of a 94 Truck for my blazer, the horn button is different obviously, but it went right on, no issues.

the wiring thingie is not even plugged in or anything, and it keeps honking for no reason, is something jacked in the collumn now??

Was there a wire on the old steering wheel? If there was, every time that wire touches ground, the horn will honk.

Did You take the little spring and plunger looking assembly out from the column. Because I forgot to do that when I put my grant wheel in and the same thing happened.

A lot of horns have a ground activated wire. I am not sure about your model.

If the wire "isn't there anymore," how was it removed? If you pulled it out or just cut it off, it is possible that the end of the wire is still hitting the column somewhere and grounding out.

i pulled the little plunger and spring out, nothing is connected at all that i can tell, but you can hear it clicking under tha dash.

91 K5 Scottsdale, base model, no cruise, thin little stock wheel.

im at a loss, gonna investigate further tomorrow.
