Steering wheel interchange.

So my buddy has a NOS steering wheel from a 95 GMC 3500 HD. I know it's an entirely different column but what's the chances the wheel fits my 84 GMC?

Curious if one from an '00+ with the built in stereo controls would work also then? Obviously you'd have to ditch the air bag but it might be cool to put something more modern in there...

I know the chassis on the HD line changed in 95. I'll have to. Check to see what column is in my pals 91 2500.

My stock wheel is 16 OD, the 95 is just about 15 3/4 so no real gain there. Heck the wheel is Fugly on the 95.

Now the wheel on my 91 K5, that's purdy.

Have you looked into the '91-'94 Lumina wheel or the '91-'94 Cavalier wheel? They're both similar to each other but have subtle differences. The Cavalier wheel is smaller than the Lumina wheel and has thumb rests at 10 and 2. Either wheel looks good in a square body and both are very comfortable.
