Does anybody know how to tighten up the steering on at K5. The wheel feels real loose.

I went from a rag joint that was in reasonably good condition (not much slop) rag joint shaft to a dual u-joint shaft. I also did a steering brace and a slight box preload adjustment (you have to be really careful not to get it too tight, or it could lock up on you - in the middle of an off-ramp, perhaps, crash and burn). I went from over an inch of play to very little, mostly sidewall flex. Like a previous poster wrote, get a helper to turn the steering wheel back and forth, and get underneath and look for the slop.ARAMP1 said:I wonder how noticeable the difference is between a (new) rag joint and U joint.
