desided to fix my lock cylinder and turn signal switch. so to access these i need to pull the steering wheel. that ive have never done. any pointers. lloked for info and didnt find anything. any links??

thanks

Easy...

pry off the horn cover.

remove nut.

install steering wheel puller.

pull steering wheel.

Two inexpensive tools you should have are a steering wheel puller, and a lock plate depresser tool. Once your wheel is off, if you need to get deeper into things you'll need to remove the lock plate...

I keep my steering wheel tools in a small cooler bag.

got the puller but whats a lock plate depresser tool.

You can do the lockplate without the depressor tool using a dowel against your chest. but its alot easier to have the tool if you plan on doing it more than once.

I did it by myself without the tool MANY times back in the day...NEVER again, it's a pain in the arse... from removal to install... tool is worth eleventy x's what it costs....
