I like the looks of that one :pimp:

How much did your steering sensitivity change VS the stock one ?

I think it got a little better. I've had it on there so long I can't really remember. :thumb:

I haven't had any problems offroad with it either but I only run 33's for now.

I have to agree with you on this. But I haven't had any problems with the horn on this one. My first one I did, but the ring on the inside it connects to broke on me and caused the problem. I just ran the horn button crooked after that and it worked fine. :D

Black grant going on soon :) im to fat for this stock wheel!

Loosing weight to fix the problem, but i still prefer grants over anything stock.

:zombie3: thread!!!

It's a small wheel, not the best for offroading, but after my hydro assist install, it doesn't mater anymore. I never had any problems with the wheel, but I'm sure cranking on it with no assist in the rocks would be hard. Also, if your steering is a little sloppy, the smaller wheel with accentuate it.

Grant GT wheel with different horn button from another Grant wheel painted to match dash.

Wow! Someone has a steering wheel fetish and is dredging up OLD threads!

time stands still on the intraweb... :haha:

there are very few aftermarket wheels I like, the Grant GT being one of them...

2 of my trucks have the GT's and while I was shopping for a new cherry picker yesterday at O'Reillys, I walked by the Grant section and almost grabbed a black GT wheel and adaptor just to have one laying around the shop. :doah:

I've got a leather wrapped stock chevy wheel from a 93 S10 blazer. Same as Trusty's, but with the leather. I like the size of it, both diameter and rim thickness. The PO on mine had installed a teeny 13" Grant and one ride around the block prooved that was not the way to go. Made the steering so stinking twitchy I felt like if I sneezed on it I'd be in the next lane over.

Next choice would have been a 4 spoke wheel from a 78-81 Z28. Got one of those in my Nova..

The z28 style is my favorite GM steering wheel...I want one for my truck.

I like the stock one on my ton.....however I did like the early OBS style wheel I had on my blazer :woot:

Might just have to toss the spare one I have laying around on it

Got this grant one, cant remember the style though. Its on my Beaumont.

Early 90's C1500. I have a replacement that looks just like it, but it has a genuine leather wrapping, it's from a '93 S10 Blazer.

Old Grant wheel. A little on the small side.

'91 S10 steering wheel. I didn't care much for it, I ended up replacing it.

Early Cavalier wheel, very similar to 70's Z28. This wheel is nice.

Im pretty sure my steering wheels off a golf cart... But I LOVE IT! :haha:

I'm going to go quick detach some day soon. The tilt up, slide seat back, climb over bolster is a bit of a pita.
