Ya i started this thread at least a year ago and i dug it up and made an adition to it.
I like how you used the fender flares to provide some uniform between the front and rear wheel wells.
What made you decide to put the newer bed on? Just because its diffrent? The fronts are old warn cut outs and the rears are bushwacker extenda fenders. Bought the front set with the fenders and the rear set off of a wrecked 89 stepside. It did work rather well, better than i thought....lol...there actually pretty close in style too. I was going to put stock fenders on but those rear flares popped up.
Thanks craig....much appreciated
I need to soon! 72 stepside 4wd. Not original drivetrain though I don't believe. aint was orignally an ugly orange

Other than the late 40s and through the 50s, I'm talking Chevys and maybe a little Furd even though their fenders were like VW Bug round....I think these trucks were the only trucks that looked good StepSide. All the rest are ugly as sin and serve less purpose than a mini truck CC 4' fleetside. At least I can fit my quad in a fleetside.
but that's just oneaszhole'sman'saszholeopinion![]()
. It was a late 70s 2wd long bed stepside, man was it ugly...lol.... painted right over the rust with some kind of rattlecan blue.Blech. Gm should have quit making stepsides after '98. I think there's a reason I see so few of those. No offense to your dad intended.
Sicnce this was started almost 3 years ago i'll add this one. Old pic (bout 2 years) and haven't done ANYTHING to itI need to soon! 72 stepside 4wd. Not original drivetrain though I don't believe. aint was orignally an ugly orange
