I've been trying to get my clutch hooked up on my truck so I can take the cab back off and finish work on the frame. In case anyone doesn't know i'm putting a 77' chevy body on an 85' dodge frame, and the clutch seems like it wants to work but my clutch is so stiff that when i push the clutch pedal it moves the cab. I've only had time to fab up the front mounts so thats all that it's bolted to but still, pushing on the clutch moves the cab.

When I had the clutch rebuilt I told him it was for a mud truck and I'm thinking thats why its so stiff, I cant move the clutch without a 2 foot piece of pipe on the linkage. But my main question is if I made the flat bar that connects the rod from the pedal to the frame longer for more leverage if this would be a good thing. I do want to use the truck on/off road and on as technical of a trail as it will fit on, so i don't want a clutch I can barely hold in. So i'm wondering if it's worth a shot the get it to a point where it has enough leverage that I can actually hold in the clutch, or if i should just go get a new clutch.
