I couldn't find my original post so I am asking again looking for blue carpet for my 83 K5 doesn't need to be perfect but would something that doesn't have holes in it I wrote one man and he sold his 3 months ago

What kind of condition are you looking for ? I have my original 85 blue carpet that is filthy and old but no holes. Are you not interested in purchasing new carpet from ACC from a distributor ?

I am looking original GM carpet. Is it badly worn? Just dirty? I had LMC carpet and after a few years started to fade and I and I didn't like the fit.

It is original carpet from 1985 . It spent the last 15 years on my deer lease in central Texas .. however in 15 years, I may have put 600 miles on it. I can take some pictures of it this weekend. Mine is a diesel so there is some backing but mastic underlayment is gone.... mainly carpet and jute backing. it will be the Passenger Area, Cargo Area, and I think both wheel well covers.

I just installed new Mass Back Carpet from OC Auto Carpets which is from ACC same as everyone else sells ... not sure where LMC comes from.

Is this the cargo area or the passenger? I could use both but need the passenger area the worst

It is both sections plus the pieces that go over the fender wells. Let me get them out of the area I have them and take pictures to send to you. I will try to have pictures posted by Sunday.

tell us about the LMC carpet. Do you know how made it ? What were your initial thoughts on this LMC carpet ?

It didn't match the factory cuttings. Like where those small pieces are behind the door under the side panel the factory carpet went up behind those LMC does not. I also found when I cleaned up a spot the blue came off on my rag and the footrest was off center.

I put the ACC carpet with the mass backing in my 77 about a little over a year ago. Very happy with it. Sourced from Rock Auto, shipped from ACC in Georgia.

I was not able to get them as planned, I will try to get them this evening... my appologies ... I did remember that the two pieces that go on the sides behind the front seats at the base of the floor are gone.

Yes they are super dirty. My Blazer was on my deer lease in Central Texas for about 14 years before I started the restoration 3 years ago. There is corn dust, dirt and who all know what. There is some shoe wear but I kept floor mats in it as you can see.

The carpet is torn at the door sills so you may have to use some carpt tape on the bottom to rejoin the pieces ... this is done with household carpet joining the seam when the room is wider than the bolt.

The cargo area there is a hole inthe back left side where I got some water and it rusted out a little underneith where I had a multi Stack CD Player mounted.

The price is right ... as I was going to throw these out at some time so I would not charge you for the carpet ... it wouldn't be right if I was just planning to throw it out ... Shipping is going to be a large expense based on what I have seen lately. ... To bad you are not closer to Texas ... Let me know what you want to do ...

Before , I do anything with them, I need to make a template of where the cargo area goes into the Passanger Area so I can trim up new carpet to fit a little better that what I have now
