Still running cold?

Bad thermostat? Tons of bad ones out of the box, especially if they aren't Delco pieces.
 
I replaced the tstat, and it didn't change anything.

Plus, with a bad tstat, it would just warm up slow, right?

It works pretty good. I did a whole exhuast with it and there was no leaks. But now I have a mig welder so I just use that.

Thats what i am guessing is going on. Now to check if its bolted or welded on....and proceed from there. If its welded, ill prolly have a shop replace it, as i don't have a mig welder, and can't stick weld well enough to do it myself. Thanks!
 
No, they tend to stick, creating problems with temp spikes instead of smooth operation.

T-stat is what controls engine temperature, period. Anything else bad in the cooling system equals overheating.
