Stock 10 bolt issues

i have a stock gm 10 bolt half ton rear end with 4:10 gears. Whenever the tires end up spinning on a wet day or in mud, the spider gears start slipping and grinding away. i had the rearend rebuilt ounce and it still ocasionally happens. does anybody else have this problem? o ya im running stock 31" tires.

If it's a gov lock??

If it's an open diff I think it's just normal , I had an open in my old 1/2 ton and it would make a lot of a grinding type noise when spinning one tire stuck
I ran that truck for 10 years with out problems in the diff. (exept for the ones I caused myself abusing it LOL)
