i grabed a 2wd box from a truck outback, and was looking at the 2wd pitman arm and i don't see why it won't work with crossover, is it cause its not enough drop? or what?

drop and I'm pretty certain the hole isn't large enough to except the TRE.

it says 71-86, i pulled it off a 87, let me see if i can find a pic of a 87 2wd arm.
