Stock 3/4 ton weight?

I tried to search - I know this has probably been discussed a million times - but I'm an idiot and can't get any meaningful threads from my searches.

Anyway - I'm probably going to buy one of two trucks this weekend. I'm probably going to have to pull whichever one I buy about 30-40 miles on a trailer with the k5. I'm a little concerned about the weight of the trucks.

1) Bone stock 1985 2wd 3/4 ton chevy with a 6.2 - I imagine it weighs around 4800lbs? Anyone ever weigh theirs?

2) Bone stock 1982 4wd 3/4 ton chevy with a 6.2, and a plow. I imagine it weighs around 6000lbs.

Am I close with my estimates for weight?

the 2wd sounds a little light with a 6.2. my truck stock with me, my tools, a spare tire and some other small junk weighted 5010. figuring with out a tcase and a front axle, the diesel will make up for that in wieght.

the 4wd sounds about right, maybe a little light by a couple hunred pounds.

Any idea on the length of the '82 with the plow? Would it fit on a 16' trailer or would a longer one be better?

My 85 C20 with 350, 700r4,14bsf, standard cab, longbox weighs 4400 with a spare tire in it. It does have aluminum rims on it, with 235/85's

the long bed truck itself is 18' long. the plow adds another 4' to the length. i have hauled my longbed on a 16' traailer before, it hangs off quite a bit. id throw the plow in the back of the truck if you can. two people should be able to pick it up and put it in there. or you can load the truck on the trailer backwards, but the plow would hang off and wuld probably make it tail heavy.

My 79 3/4 ton 4x4 weigh's in at 7200, 454, np203 turbo 400 with winch bumper and 8000# warn up front. My 83 1/2 ton 2x4 went 4300lbs
