Stock 88 tbi ecm

I misplaced my stock tbi ecm when I replaced it with a hot chip. Want to install a stock ecm to troubleshoot. Anyone have one around I can buy. Thanks Shawn

you want the whole ecm = computer ?

or the prom = chip that plugs in the ecm ?

and what motor/tranny. diffrent tunes.

i just want the prom (the chip that goes into the computer). I have a 88 5.7L that I rebuilt out of my K5. I have flat top pistons, Speed Pro cam 195deg at .50, headers into 60series mufflers, open air filter. I just installed new cap and rotor with plugs and wires and the engine started running rich (exhaust burning eyes) and idles high (975 idling) with the hot chip installed. I wanted to put the stock chip in to see if that fixes the problem.

did you get your answer on this yet? I have the PROM you need......but check your thermostat! When I put my new engine in I installed a 160 degree thermostat overthinking things......my ECM was constantly running richer and at a higher rpm trying to warm it up! I put a 195 degree thermostat in and it's running perfect now......

Thanks for the reply. I went to a local junkyard that had just put in a 89 burban. I got the speedometer and computer for ten bucks. I appreciate the offer. Missile
