hey all, I just picked up some skyjacker softride Summit part number SJA-C180 front springs for my CC. Now here is the problem the springs measure 2 1/2 inches wide but the stockers are 2 3/4 wide. The back springs measure 2 1/2 inches. There site said these were the correct ones. Kinda confused here. It's on a 89 GMC CC 1ton D60/14ff .
Also what do i need steering wise? It is a 8 inch lift. Thanks for any info

Not a big deal, IIRC all aftermarket front springs are 2 1/2" wide. It won't hurt anything, the bushing will make up the difference. For 8" lift, probly should go crossover, probly be cheaper too. If not then you need to get a dropped arm for a GM, dropped draglink, and a block to put under the steering arm. Crossover might cost a little more, but steer 10x better than stock.
