Stock draglink on 6\" lift FYI
When I installed my 6" lift I used a 4" raised steering arm and a 2" drop pitman arm. I was always under the impression that the draglink had to be parallel to the ground. So I ran it like that for a year with a lot of bumpsteer, thinking I couldn't do anymore for the bumpsteer than crossover. Then a friend told me I need the draglink parallel to the spring not the ground and I read that on here in a search. So anyway, I took out the 2" drop pitman arm and installed the factory pitman arm and guess what.........
No more bumpsteer, at least in the neigborhood (which on some streets I had bumpsteer). So a year of wacko bouncy steering was fixed in about an hour. If only I had known /forums/images/graemlins/waytogo.gif
