Have a CUCV Dana 60 on my 87 and to say the hubs suck would be an understatement. I have cleaned and regreased them twice and the drivers side barely engages the splines. I know it will break soon hopefully doesn't take out the stub shaft. I will be getting warn premiums soon but out of curiousity....who makes the stock ones used by the military??

Stock ones were Spicers until 83 or so. After that they're just plain Warns.

I had plain warns, and now premiums. Only difference I can see is the brass dial /forums/images/graemlins/dunno.gif I run tall skinnies and have whacked them on rocks many times now. When they're done, I'll run full-time slugs. Then either take them out for lengthy highway trips, or just eat the fuel mileage.

to much grease will prevent the engagement
light film is all that is required
dunno what the Mil used but my stockers were Warn junk
