My '93 3/4 ton is missing the radio. What do they look like? Anybody have one for cheap? All the TEERUKS I've seen have aftermarket ones, which I really don't care for. Did one ever fit where the CD holding slot goes? Seems along way off for a radio...

the factory radio in thatt would be above the a/c controls. that hole is where you put an am radio, or had a factory eq.

Yeah, my '92 had the radio controls up over the HVAC controls and the EQ and cassette deck down there in the dash. I put an aftermarket stereo in and the kit put it down there. I then got the factory radio delete cubby hole and put that in the dash above the HVAC controls.

Looks to me like someone had an aftermarket radio in there as that adaptor is for that, it's not stock.

yeah , did the same thing with mine , the factory radio just was'nt enough after a while.....lol . i seem to remember a little black box under the dash that the radio and cassette player plugged into also.

What I mentioned earlier was that someone has already converted it to use an aftermarket radio. You'd be better off buying a $70 radio at AutoZone or Walmart than trying to find a stock radio and make it work. I'm betting they removed the stock head unit, disconnected the receiver in the dash, and rerouted the wiring.

I have the factory one above the HVAC controls that is installed in my 94 that my wife just wrecked. It has the factory tape player/EQ along with it that is installed in the center dash sectiopn also. I am thinking about parting the truck out, but I have yet to make a positive decision on that yet. If I do, I would be happy to sell it, I just don't know what the heck they're worth.

If you look closely, you'll see the stock plug. I wonder what else is-isn't there??? I really don't like the aftermarket radios. I've got plenty of them ,and they're a PAIN. Even a flip-up TV type screen...

I'll try the stock one.

Value, not much, of course I wnat one cheap, but my friend has a junkyard, and he gets at least one of these TEERUKS in every week, just they've all had aftermarket radios. I wonder if that says something??

The factory radio sucks and the factory CD player was a fire hazard?

the stock radios just suck their display goes bad the volume doesnt like to work and as aj said I know of a few (at least 2) that the CD player/EQ have melted wires to the point of smoke. Not to mention they like to eat CD's

I know they can't be worth much, I have never had the problems you guy's have all mentioned. Everything works great on my radio and tape deck. All the lights work and it sounds like the day it was new.

If the stock radio falls through I happen to have the cubby hole and the center dash radio/vent piece for a clean install of an afteremarket sterio.
