Silly question - will a 33 fit on the stock spare carrier for an 84 (the bracket that mounts to the right rear tire hump.) I've been carrying a 31" spare, but I'm replacing my rear tires and will probably use one of the old ones for a spare.
If the 33 will fit, anyone in VA interested in the 31 (just the tire)? It's not new, but would work as a spare or daily use for a little while. It's free, just give it a ride. Otherwise, I'll toss it. Thanks.

no the 33s dont fit.. well... and they are heavy enough to break the stock mounts and fenderwell

I fabbed my own up reinforcing the stock locations with welded in plate... it didnt budge a spec even during hard off roading

If you run the tire backwards , it fits good enough , and tight enough to work , it will list to the right side a little since the wheelwell is in the way at the bottom . I run stock steel 15x8 rallies .

I haven't had a bracket crack yet , have seen some that did . Extra bracing may help , as well as changin the bracket from top mount hole to carrier with flat stock .
