stock spring length?

what would it be for an '80 1/2t.?it's being swapped to 3/4t.gear(d60r/d44f)i pulled the broken 12b rear out yesterday and the leafs on both sides fell out in halves.only the main leaf in each pack were in one piece.thx

Stock rear 1/2 ton springs are 52" eye to eye.

thanks for the info.i think the PO put on wrong springs.they seemed a little long.the shackle-end of the spring was actually riding on the hanger.no room at all for any movement.it's got a 6" lift(blocks)which i wasn't crazy about.now i get to fix the PO's screw-ups and since i need new leaf springs anyway i may just as well do the shackle-flip or get 6" springs.thx

Just ordered my stock length lifted springs a couple months ago....front are 47" and rear are 52"

Not all 1/2 tons got 52" rear springs, I have three 1/2 tons with 56" springs.

are they trucks or are they burbs? ive only seen 56" 1/2 ton springs on burbs.

They are (or were, only some parts left of them anymore) trucks. If I remember the years right now, one is -78, the other is -80 (5.7 diesel, stepside) and the third -76.
