Stock Steering Stabilizer

1987 K5. 4 inch lift. 33x12.50
For some reason my stock style steering stabilizer just started leaking and is now junk. It was only a couple years old.
Is this a typical problem.
I'd like to just replace it, but I've found that they are over 30 dollars. I thought I remembered it being around $15. Is there anywhere I could get a stock steering stabilizer cheaper?

Does it still drive fine? If so, don't worry about it. My burb hasn't had one in years.

4" lift and 35's. I ran dual stabilizers. Took them off and didn't notice a difference.
