Stock tire width

I have an 88 k5 that has baloneys for tires. i want to grand the bf at's in 32x11.5r15. will this width fit the stock 15 inch rim or do i have to stay 10.5?

What size are your factory wheels, 7" or 8"?

The older steel rally wheels are 8" wide and the 11.50 tire would look good on them. I don't know if the factory aluminum wheels are 7" or 8", but either way the tire should fine.

I have a 12.5 wide on an 8" wide rim. The guys at any tire shop should be able to tell you how wide your rim is.

Yup . I had a set of both in my garage last week .

Aluminum are 8 inches total across , 7 inch at the bead so they are 15x7's

Steel are 9 inches across total , 8 inch at the bead so they are 15x8's

I ran 33x12.50s on my stock aluminum wheels and they were fine. Before that I ran 32x11.50s on the steel wheels no problems.
