Need advice on this set up:

Alpine head unit

replace the stock DASH 3 1/2 or 4's whatever they are.

4160 MTX Amp for 2 8" bazookas

Don't know what will fit in the back panels.

Do i need to replace all speaker wires?

I took this out of my DD 2002 GMC.

If Your Going To Run Your Mids And High Off Your Deck You Do Not Have To Replace Your Speaker Wire.. Imo. Once You Go Over 100watts Per Channel Is When You Need To Think About Upgrading Your Wire

Ok, for a "normal" system you might try the Alpine deck driving front dash 3 1/2 speakers (4" fit with some trimming, but not worth it because the location sux regardless of speaker size) and some 6X9's in the rear cargo area, stock wiring is fine for this, you might consider running bass blocking caps on these speakers (available online or most retail shops that sell stereo equipment. Run the amp and 'zookas out back, should sound pretty decent for you.

For an upgrade over this setup consider kickpanel speaker pods, and run at least 6 1/2 speakers in them. Consider using the 4 channel MTX amp to run the kick panels and the 'zookas... rear speakers are just fill anyways so leave them on the deck until you get the 'ching for a 2 channel amp to drive the 'zookas separatly.

Whatever you do with your eqipment will make your Blazer sound better than stock.
