Stock wheels with beadlocks

Has anyone ever put a set of weld on bead lock rings on a set of the white hub cap style chevy wheel.

I think it would look pretty cool, might be a pain to remove the hubcap tho

Also it would kinda make the wheel alittle wider.
 
I did. I couldn't get them to deal though, and gave up. Now it just looks like I have rock rings.

Well that sucks, those looked pretty awesome with the hub cap in them.

Do you have any idea why they wouldn't seal.

Was it the ring deflection thing or something else
 
I am thinking I didn't take enough time making it completely smooth where the bead was suppose to seal.

Ya know even tho they aren't beadlocks those wheels look awesome lol

I wonder if you could just mount them in a lathe and knock off the rough weld spots and have a nice beveled edge on it
 
Oh the weld is ground off. There are just some slight, um, craters?
