Some guy i know wants to buy all 4 of my 1989 K5 stock aluminum rims. How much do guys think they are worth (how much i would pay at a junk yard)? They're in pretty good shape.

I sold the ones off my 89 with decent 31x10.50's on them for $200. I could have probably gotton more but I sold them 2 months before doing the lift and axle swap and used them untill then.

Are you selling them with tires or just the rims. those rims look nice I have the same ones. if they were 8 lug and not eight inches I would keep them. If you end up not selling them tell him I got a set that has 33's on them for sale. as for a price ask him what he wants to spend and if that seems like a good price to you then go for it.

thanks-
i think i am going to ask $135 (for the set)..... its alittle between what i want and what he offered ($25 ea). Just rims, i'm keeping the tires..... i figure the rims will sit outside if i keep them and get ruined so i had better just sell them and get what i can get.

I sold my stock 89 wheels (wheels only) for $100.

The factory aluminum rims cost about $325 a piece from the dealer....no kidding, I got an estimate several years ago when a car hit my Blazer.

Anyway, I sold a set of 4 factory aluminum rims for somewhere between $200-$250 (no tires, just the rims) several years ago.

One of the JY's here will pay $200 for a set of the factory alloys. I'm sure they make a fortune by selling them one at a time to folks that have wasted a wheel on a curb or something.
