strange problem

hi everyone I'm a newbie here so please bare with me,I own a lifted 79 k5 blazer which i love ,BUT I also own a 93 s10 blazer which is turning into a money pit..my new problem is the 4 wheel drive,it is a push button 4 wheel drive,it will only go into 4 wheel drive when its in reverse and only go into 4 wheel drive low,if i play around a little it will go into high,i can hear a clicking on the passager side when i push the button i assume thats a relay,i don't think its the switch and pretty sure its not the 4x4 motor cuz it does go into 4 wheel drive..someone told me it could be the wiring harness??

Sounds like the vacuum actuator. IIRC it's kind of under the battery area on the passenger side and they are a common failure point.

i did replace that bout 2 months ago,it had a tear in it,and i did double check it to make sure it was still ok
