So I recently purchased some 15x8 rallys.

Going from a 35 and knobby, to something flat and slick is new to me.. Wondering what tires guys swear by, for some fatter and streety..RRR tires.

Would love some pics if people got em.

Stock height or lowered? I had BFG's on mine, pricey now, but look good and worked great.

It will get lowered eventually. Not a crazy amount but probably 3 inches in the front and 4-5 in the rear.

85 c-10 short bed v8 lowered 2.5" front spindles and 2.5" rear hangers and shackles . these pics are on 31x10.50x15 half worn tires for roller use .

my plan is 255/70/15 bfg radial t/a all 4 and solid white letter out . thats a 29.01" tall tire . and here is 1 on a 8" wide rim . one pic just now best i could get on right rear .

I ran 4 15 x 8" rally's on my 81 G-10 van and used stock sized tires (215/75-15 & 235/75-15) and had no problems ,except once I had a 205/75-15 on the front roll off the bead while going around a rotary circle a little too fast..it might have been too skinny,or maybe the tire itself was at fault (I scrapped it because it got sidewall rubbage inside)..

I have a set of 6" rally rims too, those might be better up front than 8" but I liked the 8" ones best, they made it handle better..

It can be a chore getting stock sized tires to inflate on the 8" rims, but I managed to get around that issue..

Cooper cobra. 275/60's front and rear. Fill the wheel wells

Thats what my search came down to earlier today actually. Was reading through lots of forums. Also crappy tire stocks them for about 159 a tire, which helps because it seems like most tire places don't stock 275/60/15s..

It's just a 1/2 ton 2WD pick-up. Probably the same weight as a full size car, and I don't think he is hauling much of anything with it. The 275-60-15 is load rated for 2150 lbs per tire, which is more than enough and then some.
