ok i put stright pipes on my blazer 350 will this help with hp and gas milege

Huh......what'd you say I cant hear you. lol. Straight pipes are less constrictive but if your gonna drive this thing everyday you may want to find some kind of high flow muffler for it. BTW I love the sound of open headers.

might wanna make sure theres not alot of fluid leaking under the truck too. it could heat up enough to catch fire.

To much pipe work if you wheel. My exhaust got tore off. Now it has a cherry bomb and it exits infront of my driver side back tire. I was gonna go with duels but watching to many people kink it off or rip it completely off.
Just my 2 cents

I'd say if it's just a play truck go for it :saweet: :saweet: nothing has a cooler sound than open headers.
But as said before if it's your DD the probably not the best idea.

i might be wrong- but i think that your blazer would probably sound and perform better with a muffler, whether it be a flowmaster or whatever. Without a muffler you have no backpressure resulting in a loss of power, atleast this is how mine was until i hooked up my exhuast after my tranny swap. just my opinion. Later Ryan

With my 454 I pull my pipes and go open headers for stuff like mud bogs. Get more power at high RPM but down low you loose power. I have the pipes off right now since they don't fit after clocking t-case and rock crawling I can notice a loss in power because of backpressure

They do sound cool when you are driveing around, and when you go mudding but anywhere else it starts to get annoying

i am running the pipes off the stock mainfolds and thier not too loud. the police dont care because one of the police trucks has a flow master exaust and it is louder than my truck
