Stripped Dash?

Is there any wya you can explain how you made your setup for your gauges? Im in the process of starting mine and i was going for the same look. Thanx

wow, this threads old.. ;)

the dash is made from 11 seperate pieces.. its fiberglass, but could be done in metal too.. i used oaktag cardboard for templates..

i started by making 3 main flat pieces that fit from top to bottom.. a center piece and a left and right.. i screwed those in place and glass tacked them at the angles they needed to be at. then removed and final glassed. here they are tacked..

after that, i cut a big window in the upper 1/2 for the gauges. templated the 3 pieces that the gauges are in. then templated the 5 small pieces that are the sidewalls to the angled part.. glass everything up, mud the seams, prep and paint... heres a shot of the seams mudded with epoxy...

oh, and its been in since about april, and i love it... :D
