Strobes?

The 84 K10 in my sig. Anyway, I want the strobes that the newer vehicles have, the ones built into the turn signals/headlights/brake lights.

Lots of the ebay ish kits get installed IN the lenses. So you drill a hole in teh back of the lens, install strobe. I wouldnt' hesitate to do this on my front parking lights, but tails or headlights would be tougher.

Remember too, there are serious law enforcement rules when it comes to turning these on in a public area.

Its called a strobe pack. Im a fire fighter thats why i run strobes laws are strict on what u run .Just as dhcomp said you cut a 1in hole in back of your lights and install them thay have tabs on them that you secure them with .I installed them in my turn sig lights and my tail lights dont recommend installing them in your head lights. Brands are whelen ,signal, code 3.

I work in construction and many of my customers who do freeway/highway work have them installed on their work trucks for safety. They mentioned that they take there trucks to a traffic control company locally. This is the type of company that rents and sells all type of traffic safety devices such as traffic cones, signs, reflectors, lighting/strobes, arrow and message boards and all types of gear for any kind of highway work being done. Any large city in your state should have said type of shop.

i was interesting in doing this to, my dad has them done in his 2007 classic 2500 for traffic control when working on bridges, anyway i have an 85 K5 and would like to install them in the front, so should i put in the headlights(i have dual headlights) or the turning signal lights?
is there any way to change the style of strobe? i was wondering if there was any way to make the strobe flash when the bass in truck hits? just an idea?

i think it would be kinda neat to do in my 86 k5, i like the multiple strobes up front, where its upper left lower right then switch to upper right lower left, then back again. Rear just use two in the rear brake lights.

Anyone done this to their truck yet? Any more info? I know its reviving an old thread, but i remember when i first saw it posted and thought it was neat.
