I need an oilpan for my 305 to 400sbc swap. Will the one listed below work (link)
http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?Ntt=sum-g3500p&searchinresults=false&Ntk=KeywordSearch&DDS=1&N=115&target=egnsearch.asp

The part # is sum-g3500p

I am worried. It says it will fit a 400sbc but in the details it says it's for a maximum stroke of 3.48". Isn't the stroke on the 400sbc 3.75"? I even called Summit to ask them about this and they said it would work. What do y'all think? I cant seem to trust these "technical" people who answer the phones at these places.
Just looking for some advice.
Thanks,
BB

Are the strokes the same on the 383 and 400? Anyone else have an opinion on this? Thanks in advance
