I have 383 Stroker with vortec heads and flat tops. I run NGK TR-55 plugs which are very cold. I have to run premium (93 octane) because anything else makes my truck diesel when I shut it off, I was wondering If I were to go to a hotter plug could I run regular gas and not have to worry about dieseling...with gasoline as expensive as it is it would be nice to be able to run regular.
