stroker TBI minor problem

It still acts up after the 02 goes into closed loop, so the ecm is using the sensors to operate and it is still backfiring. I appreciate everyones help and i WILL figure this out. i have put up a post on the 3rd gen website to see if they can shed some light on the subject also.Kept the tips coming

So if it's doing it open and closed you can dis-count the sensors, so how about the chip? Have you tried the stock chip back in just 'to see' ?? Looks like it's got to be the ECM or chip themselves or a mechanical problem. Good luck.!! /forums/images/graemlins/thumb.gif

I did installed the stock chip to see what would happen.with the stock chip the truck will barely run and has no power

Weird eh?Can you get hold of another ecm to try? Best thing I would have thought is to see if anyone else on here is running the same set up and see if they'll get a chip copied from theres.
