stryker bolt ?

I got pair of stryker bolt bushings in hopes of doors shutting a lil smoother. Am I ok just backing that bolt all the way out? There cant be a nut behind there thats just guna drop. Right? :dunno:
 
secret fix:

Get a piece of 1/2" cpvc, notch it, snap it over the door striker, works like a champ!

I'll post pics of mine later...
 
Not dissing the spelling, but for a minute I was excited.

I thought someone actually owned a Stryker!!!

Jason, the striker nut is a caged nut and it "shouldn"t" be able to fall. Keep in mind though that you will need to make sure you mark the location of where the striker currently is since that is an adjustment point.
