I went wheeling Saturday 9/17 and had a blast at the local spot. A few of us got there early and I tried this mud hole that wasn't nearly this deep last time we were there.

Anyways here is the clip. Thanks to Paul (ryoken) for hosting the clip for me!

Yes, I am man enough to post a clip of the Burb getting winched out by a Jeep. :doah: :doah: :haha: :haha: :haha:

Enjoy!! :D

:waytogo: That was great. Almost thought for a second you might get out. The Drama!! I laughed! I cried! :haha: :haha:

:shame: OK now I'll bug you about safety... Aren't you suppossed to throw a heavy coat or something on the winch cable in case it snaps? Also standing out in the open where if it snaps could get torn in two!!! Sorry I guess thats the ol' volunteer fireman talking.

But that was pretty cool man... :wink1:

sweet video. that hole sunk down a lot once you went into it.

is your motor gear driven? is that why it has that whine to it?

what the hell had your burban sounding like crap for awhile. I thought you were gonna get out too for a bit

Dang, I will have to try and watch that tommorrow, when it will load for me....

Good thing I wasn't there, or there would have been 2 'Burbs stuck in that hole :doah:

I'm not sure what that was. Needless to say I was a bit worried when I heard it. I first thought that it was the fan slapping the mud but the bystanders assured me that I wasn't deep enough for that.

I did find a crack in the exhaust where the inlet on the muffler meets the body of the muffler. I bet I was blowing exhaust out which made the gurgling sound. Or maybe I had the exhaust to hot from the high RPMs that it was boiling the mud. Who knows? :dunno:

Once I was out of the goo the noise was gone and I wheeled the rest of the day without issues. :D

If you would have gone first, then I probably wouldn't have tried and saved a starter. :haha: :doah: :D

So are you up to 2 starters destroyed now?!?!?

Should have went wheeling with me up at the Iron Range...no mud.

Yep, two starters have met their demise. Fixing that problem has become a priority. :doah: :haha:

There wasn't much mud at 600 Acres.....just the occasional hole. It was quite dusty following folks on the trail. :eek1:

The Detroit works awesome!!

very cool video but like previasly stated please use something on the winch cable like a coat or blanket incase it breaks.
