Well, I'm pretty new to wheel'n and I didn't think to test the creek with a stick before slowly crawling in and sinking up to the axles. Its going to stay the night in the mud and I'll pull it out tomorrow ( hopefully)

That sucks you got stuck in the swamp, but a good tug and you should be right out. BTW, thats a sweet looking rig

Got it out yesterday
Well, my buddy (who has an old FJ40 with an 8274 warn) pulled me out. His winch was amazing. We had to anchor his FJ to my 2500HD pick-up but other than that it did great. I was in the Burban spinning the tires while he pulled. So, I'm buying my own winch from craig's list and getting that bad-a$$ winch bumper from blazzin offroad.

Ya, I'm a looser. I was actually just behind my neighborhood on an evening drive with the kids. I had no intentions on getting that stuck. Live and learn I guess.

I don't think we ever have the intention to get "that stuck" when we do get stuck.
Give me a ring before you buy your bumper from Jesse. He will ask you some specific details on options or how far back you want the side wrap around to go and you can see how mine is, the changes I have made to it and I'll show you what I recommended he modify so you can see If he has done that or not.
